There's no doubting a)his genuine ability to spin the ball,a real plus for an England player and b)his whole-heartedness and keen-ness to play.
However,it has been said that he has worked day-in,day-out on his fielding and batting. If that's true and he's still as bad as this in those areas,(crikey how bad is he?!),can we just turn a blind eye to it and 'lose' him in the field AND write off runs.
In this team,in my opinion, when the tail starts at 8 big-time,it's a definite NO,I think. When Simon Jones is fit and Harmy, they are both better with the bat than their stand-ins,so possibly at that time, maybe.I mean, this guy's a professional cricketer for goodness sake and it seems like he's scared of the ball!Comments?

I think that Panasaer's bowling is good and I think he provides more variation with his spin than Giles does, but a few wild balls from Panasaer and he starts to get despatched to all parts of the ground His batting certainly leaves a lot to be desired though and I think you have a point there about Jones and Harmison

Craig did you see Panaser's batting in the final test!! I think he hit 4 4's and a 6 for 26 off 24 balls!
